Death's Apprentice Workshop - West Vancouver

Deaths apprentice workshop

About Death’s Apprentice Workshop:

Death’s Apprentice offers a unique service that focuses on planning for life, not just estate planning. It’s for everyone, whether you’re a parent, an employee, or a boss. The aim is to get your affairs in order before it’s too late, to avoid leaving a mess behind.

Services:

  • Classes and Workshops: You can take classes, book one-on-one sessions, or host lunch-and-learn events for your employees. This helps clarify what needs to be done if someone needs to speak on your behalf.

  • More Than Paperwork: It's not just about having legal documents but ensuring that those who will act on your behalf know exactly what to do and say.

Founder: Christa Ovenell, a funeral director and death educator, founded Death’s Apprentice. She aims to make people comfortable with the idea of death as a part of life. She believes in planning for death to avoid chaos and added grief.

Benefits:

  • Clarity: Understanding and documenting your wishes.

  • Connection: Focusing on what matters most in life.

  • Calmness: Peace of mind knowing you’re prepared.

For Everyone:

  • Individuals: Ideal for those who want to be prepared and leave no mess behind.

  • Families: Helps families discuss and plan together.

  • Businesses: Provides support and planning for teams and employees.

Final Thoughts: Planning for death is a practical step to ensure peace of mind and reduce stress for loved ones. Death’s Apprentice provides the tools and support needed to make this process as smooth as possible.
